A worrying Diagnosis from young doctors
Our electricity went off in the high wind during the night and was still off at 3.45 pm when we left for town. Luckily we have a coal fire and a gas hob.
Luckily I went to a nice cosy house which had electricity for book group - "the Shock of the Fall" by Nathan Filer, which we all agreed was a gripping, well-written book encompassing mental illness, grief and relationships. Sounds grim but wasn't.
Then Mr C and I went to mind Ella and Nathaniel as mum had a late meeting and as dad works nights, he had to get some sleep. They both have grotty colds so we were playing with the doctor set. I'm not sure quite what Grandad's diagnosis was. Judging by their faces, the prognosis isn't good.
Ps Electricity is back.
