Rules on the rails

Sunday afternoon saw our first 'Messy Church' of the New Year. Our theme was the Ten Commandments and, for our gathering activity, we had everyone write a rule they would like to see added to our 'Rules Train'. So we had being kind, being helpful, smile a lot and so on, each rule creating a new 'carriage' on the train.

We had all sorts of other activities too, a time to sing together, some games and, finally, a chance to sit down and have a chat over a finger buffet. Full marks to the member of the catering team who came up with the idea of making tablet - but, thankfully, not of stone!
