Wet outside from dry inside

In the bus on the way to hospital to visit HJN, feeling dejected; it's all getting a bit real. And this January seems flat and it's all a bit difficult. And it's raining. Only 12 days in and I'm really off 2015. But I wanted to find something a bit 'up' to blip (enough of the brooding shadows and daaarrrk grapes of the past two days) and I only had to turn my head to the right and look... it's a carnival outside.
