Waves of Purple Columbines!

On the east side of our house, there is a flower garden I planted years ago. We plan to raise the grade in the side yard, next to this garden, so we must raise the garden as well.

I am so not looking forward to this exercise! We will have to dig up all of these beautiful Columbines, as well as the white Azalea bush and Bleeding Hearts. I don't want to dig the plants out too soon, lest they dry out and die.

Such a quandry. I'll stop complaining, but I just wanted to show the pretty Columbines.
