Orchid planter

This is the dead tree branch the previous three blips are growing on.  It was recovered from a dead pohuwkawa that was on a property at the Sand Spit near Warkworth where we spent a couple of pleasant Christmas holidays house sitting seven cats - that was about 25 years ago.  Sadly the plans don't get much attention however as epiphytes they do not require soil but do require watering and sphagnum moss helps to retain the moisture - must get on to it while I am here!!
