DUCK FAMILY

This family of ducks were swimming in the Ohau Canal today. Decided last night I would go up to Twizel today to meet up with my brother -in-law and his family who were fishing up there.   Had been going to take the camper but needed diesel mileage  so took car and left just after 8.a.m. and although was very drizzly here was brilliant over the other side of Burkes Pass.  Have had a lovely day with my other family (Als family who have been mine now for nigh on 60 years as Al and I met at school.   Stayed and had dinner with them and then set off for home - lovely till we got to Burkes pass and then the wipers on till we got just outside Pleasant Point.  Arky had a big day playing with their grandchildren and now asleep on the chair, and I won't be long out of bed either.
