Shark Bait

There has been a 5 metre Great White shark lurking around our beaches for the last three days or so.  I knew they had closed Merewether on Saturday.  Yesterday, according to the life guard at Newcastle beach where this was taken, it was seen between Nobbys and Stockton and all beaches were then closed.  The beaches were still closed this morning as you can see but it didn't deter the 16 or so odd surfers I saw.  I heard the Life Guard call them shark bait.  A warning went out just as I was leaving as there was a large shoal of fish just near where the Life Guard was circling in his jet ski and as someone said, there is sure to be something after those fish.  A rather nondescript shot but it was rather topical here today.
