CCTV Building

Also known locally as the underpants building. I picked up the repaired Canon lens today and then went for a bit of a wander to take some photos. I went to the silk market which has very cheap, decent quality fake clothes and an excellent food court where I had perhaps the nicest bowl of noodle soup that I have had in Beijing. After that I wandered over to take a photo of this building from a distance. The light was fading so I didn't bother getting any closer than this photo which was taken just next to Guomao subway station.

As an engineer, I find this structure very impressive.
