Noche en Blanco

The first "Noche en Blanco" event held in Nerja. It coincided with the International Museum Day, so it was free entrance to the new Museo de Nerja.

The museum is tucked away in the corner of Plaza Espana. It is quite an impressive building inside. Maybe the museum could have spent a few more euros on signs to direct the visitors. The large number of kids and locals inside made it really difficult to hear the audio on most of the exhibits.

Other events happening around town included live music, dancing and a weird short movie projected on to a wall. The evening was completed in our favourite haunt Los Barriles. We were treated to an impromptu flamenco singing performance by the local ladies as they made there way to the Balcon. A quite succesful opening noche en blanco for Nerja.
