A new racecourse

Today is the first of racing at the reopened and renamed Chelmsford City Racecourse which has been unused for the past 6 years after its forerunner, Great Leighs, went bust.

Clare and I would like to have been at the opening day but it was restricted to a invited guest list of only a few hundred while all the systems were being tested out.

So we had to follow the action on the telly.
