Bleak mid winter

Today feels very much like the rest of my life - without my mum, even though she died three weeks ago.
Reality set in for sis - she went back to work. I was at a loose end so went to see one aunt with some flowers and then this evening I am celebrating my other aunts 71st birthday.

The weather is playing its part in the bleakness I feel as is the landscape
