Sometimes you could almost believe it's spring

Had my gutters finally fixed this morning, then off to the physio, since when I'm supposed to be resting.  However, I couldn't resist a very short toddle in brilliant sunshine in Winchester's beautiful Crab Wood.  When the sun began to climb down towards the horizon it really lit up the world and made it very easy to believe spring's just around the corner (well, that's the optimist's take, anyway).
