Blown away...

Woke up this morning and wondered what was wrong! It was so quiet-no howling gales. Took advantage of the calm spell to get the slurry pumped into the store and avoided blow back !
Went down the road and asked the horsey man if he could move his horses out our stubble field by midnight tomorrow as this is when the 6 month exclusion starts for "fallow" for my EFA (Enviromental Focus Area) under the new CAP rules. He was OK about it. Have just had another go at reading the ever changing rules on the Scottish Government web page. What a load of GUFF ! To think some lot of bureaucrats got paid to make up all this garbage .
Any way,to calm down,took a walk out to see how many trees hadn't survived the winds. This beech has decided it's had enough. At least it missed the fence
