It's a Scandi Invasion!

Watch out, there's a Scandi about!  First they take over our TV screens and persuade us to wear awful jumpers, and now it's our bird feeders!  I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that we have had many more blackbirds in the garden than we normally have.  But these blackbirds were just that bit different; they didn't seem quite as territorial as the normal ones and their beaks aren't as bright and yellow.  It turns out they are migrants from Scandinavia; apparently up to 20 million of them come here in the winter.

I'm going to have to buy some more seed.
