Team talk

A busy day but a good day - I can see some light at the end of the tunnel :) I was hoping that there'd be enough light that I'd feel free enough to go away this weekend but that's not looking likely :( Maybe next weekend?

Trotted along to see the Senior A's play tonight - they're struggling a bit in Premier grade this season and were playing one of the top teams tonight - a team which includes 2 members of our teaching staff. Although the girls played a great first half to be a couple of goals up at half time they couldn't keep the pressure on and the older, wiser heads won the battle.

All a good learning experience though. I believe that learning to lose teaches players so much more than winning endlessly . . . . so on that basis our girls should be learning heaps this season!
