We went to a bigger nearby town today to have my car serviced. It last had a service 2 years ago, but in the 2 years it had only been driven 7 000 km, since I had spent most of that time in Iceland. It needed new tyres though, but apart from that, it is still in excellent condition. We spent some time in the mall and had a lovely lunch (I almost posted that picture since I am so fixated with food pictures at the moment), and on the way back to Swellendam the meter went over to 100 000 km. I have only once had a car that I have driven that far, and that was my first car, a Mini., many decades ago.
