Cooling off after the melt

The local ski lifts are back working although the conditions are not at their best. This shot is taken from the village ski car park which adjoins the house. It looks far more treacherous than the ski pistes, I have to say.
Now it is freezing again and snow is forecast for later on in the week, there is a noticeable feeling of optimism around with the promise of better times to come.
