Semester Two has begun

Not a very exciting blip from me today. Our second semester started yesterday and I had my first lecture today. Because of my involvement with the Learning Futures project I'm only teaching one day a week at the moment, and today was it.

I thought about taking a photo with all my students sitting in front of me (which at least would have been more interesting) but I decided it wouldn't really be fair to upload a photo online without their consent. So I took a photo of the room before the students arrived for the start of the lecture.

It's a distinctly uninspiring  room to teach in, and the session featured too much of me and not enough of them. This is precisely the sort of thing that Learning Futures hopes to address so in future weeks I must practice what I preach!
