Ferns forever

I like ferns. There's something about their symmetry that's appealing. Also they must be quite successful since they've been around since the dinosaurs. There's no shortage of them around the wet coast either.

In the form of fiddleheads, the young furled fronds, ferns are edible, though I've never tried them. I have occasionally seen them in local supermarkets so perhaps I should take my love of ferns to the next level and eat them!
