Whisky sample

nd of the first week back and it was long as expected. Didn't manage to get to the gym this morning as we had a storm over us and high winds. All the rail lines were closed going out of Edinburgh till they had checked the lines for fallen trees and the road bridge was shut. Woke up and check out twitter and Facebook for news. 
Posted a few comments on the Blip forums while waiting for the bridge to open. Didn't take long and I was on the way by 7.50am. One of the best trips into work with hardly any traffic
J came back from London and we had the night in. Her cold was in full swing.

This week’s theme is Novel. A few years ago we went for a tasting at the whisky society where they were selling off the old remnants of samples and cask ends. This is one of the drams we tried that night as we got to take the bottles back with us with whatever was remaining. This was a Laphroaig of some sort. J is now using it as one of those room smellies with the read sticks and smelly stuff.
