We Have Buttonholes!

I battled once more with the buttonhole problem, watching a video or two, combining those techniques with the instructions printed from another website then bashing on to make something that resembled a slit instead of the gaping hole yesterday's efforts produced. More amazingly, they match up with the markers for the button positions. I still can't understand why the first one yesterday was perfect but the subsequent shapes were so different.

Now at last I can proceed with stitching the bits together.

(The yarn colour is an Air Force Blue, but the artificial lighting has altered it in the photo, so I have tweeked it nearer to the original).
