The other side of plants.

A local garden's group CEO gave us a talk on the other side of plants. Elder being planted by house doors to keep insects away, smelly plants to prevent insects attacking plants, even cinnamon to deter ants. All very interesting and amusing. Potatoes or cork to prevent cramp, might work in bed but I get cramp when I am swimming, feel I would look a little odd with a potato hanging off my costume.
