This morning a "scrap metal man", with the help of my Dad and I, disassembled the old metallic accumulator tank. The tank had to be cut up in half by flame cutting. The three of us then carried/squeezed the halves outside, where they were hoisted onto the back of a crane truck with the crane and a hook. The other half also had to be "trimmed" by flame cutting to fit it through the door. This shot was taken during that process. As the man is a pensioner who does this as a hobby, the only payment he took was the scrap metal from the process. A good deal, I reckon.
