Sunset through the grass
First thing this morning I snapped a quick picture of the skiff of snow we received last night. It wasn't much but I knew I had a very busy day so I wanted to get my daily foto out of the way early. Having done so, I pushed all thought of photography out of my mind until walking outside after work.
The sky had cleared after the rain storm today and the sunset was a brilliant orange. My first reaction was that I have to get my camera. I didn't have any good view of the sunset so I drove down the road, stopped a few times but couldn't find a clear shot. By the time I found a place to take a picture, most of the brilliant color was gone. So I settled on a longer exposure (~20 seconds) of the grasses.
The longer exposure brought out the colors that I couldn't see.
