Primula

The company delivering the new patio doors telephoned yesterday to say our doors would arrive between 0700 hours and 1000 hours today. They arrived at 0810 hours and had unloaded and gone before 0830 hours.

We received a letter today from VirginMedia to say that they were moving their services over to Talk Talk. We had a disastrous time when we were with Talk Talk, so today I have been trying to change our broadband and telephone over to BT. Unfortunately, BT informed me that Virgin have put a block on our line so that we cannot move to another service provider. I had to telephone Virgin to get it removed, spending thirty-three minutes holding on and being transferred around to various people. The block will be removed on Friday or maybe Monday, so I cannot proceed until then.

It has been as very cold all day although there has been some sunshine; the extreme cold weather is due more, I think, to the wind chill factor.

Today’s picture is of some pale yellow Primula flowers, there are several clumps of these around the garden, but these bedraggled ones, in one of the front borders, are the only ones currently in flower.
