You've got to take the rough with the smooth

Whilst I was sitting on the deck of an ocean liner it was hardly moving despite the sea being fairly rough. A number of people were paid lots of money to come and give us talks or entertain us in the evening and they were ferried two and from Guernsey via this boat which was thrown about by the waves.
