Kerry Thatch

A busy day, starting with our PhotoClub this morning.  Our mentor and leader stepped down for a break at the end of last term so we are now going it alone with eighteen registered members.  We had a constructive meeting this morning and plan to visit the Landscape Photographer of the Year Exhibition next Wednesday.

Our younger grandson has been with us this afternoon and we had a good walk around "the block".  He does love walking.

Kerry Thatch is another cottage in the village which is being re-thatched, a job which takes several months.  It has been extended from a two room back-to-back hearth cottage probably dating back to the late 17th or early 18th century and is now quite a large modern home in the centre of the village.
