Walking on Eggshells

Another blip a teeny bit on the silly side today for the Idioms challenge. I have opted for 'walking on eggshells', and we all know what that is like when we have to choose our words or actions carefully to avoid conflict or upset.  Here, there is a rather more literal approach with my walking boots (complete with mud from a previous outing), treading carefully on eggshells - plus the word in case extra information is helpful!

This is the last of the January Challenge Week 2, so now onwards to Week 3 starting with STARTLING!
