Making tracks

Running an NTS garden isn't all boring jobs, working out in the rain and getting covered in mud, you know. Sometimes we get exciting things happening, such as we did today when Chris and his side-kick came back to finish emptying our septic tank.

As we can't get a tanker within a quarter of a mile, maybe more, of the house they had to make five return journeys with a plastic container on a tracked dump-truck, trying not to drive on the grass verges, opening and shutting two gates each time and transferring to a tanker in the car park!

How do some folk always get the good jobs, eh?
