Usually, it takes 10 days for Apple to approve an App, however, after being personally contacted, Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, approved the Je suis Charlie app in hours.

The app allows people to show their support for Je suis Charlie by pinpointing their location on a map of the world.

Particularly apt today, bearing in mind it is a week since the start of the terrorist atrocities took place in Paris, and on the day when 5 million copies of the latest edition of Charlie Hebdo magazine have been produced and sold.
