Sometimes, being a primary school teacher provides a useful source of inspiration. We're talking about 'special books' in RE at the moment, the idea being that the children understand that they can learn life lessons from stories and that people use special books like the Quran and the Bible as a guide to how to live their lives. All very topical, unless you're 4 years old and your favourite book is The Princess and the Pea.

Poppy was a [not very] willing model and wobbled precariously on the pile of blankets and sofa cushions. My poor child; the things I make her do for a blip.
