Metro Tiles

The tiler has finished, the grouting is done and the kitchen is nearly finished. We still need the splash back fitted round the units and also the ceiling and one untiled wall need to be fixed and painted.

I took the photo today because the surfaces will never again be so uncluttered and today feels like a big step forward. We tiled to the ceiling because the walls are so crappy and we decided to make the tiles a bit of a feature. As Robin and I commuted on the London Underground for 21 years we intend to take some photos of out favourite stations and we will put them up in the kitchen to maximise the "metro" feel of the tiles.
