Quarry Bank Mill

What a really interesting place. Went for a visit with Kath . We managed to avoid the school parties also visiting the mill . We also had a very good tour of the apprentice house it was really cold, I would never have survived the hard conditions they lived in. The worst I think the the straw for wiping your bum in the pitch black on a potty on a really freezing night in the middle of winter !!! The potty of course shared with at least 10 other girls !!! I love central heating and 3 toilets !
