Calm Before The Storm

The days lengthening are quite noticeable now with the sun setting at about 4pm.   So with this in mind I thought I'd call in at the lake on my way home from work to hopefully find something to blip.    The sun may have been shining when I left work but the light for photography had all but gone when I arrived there, so this beautiful Swan won the day.    I love the water droplets on its head, he got these by doing a bottoms up in the lake to find the remains of some bread that two ladies had been feeding to the water birds. 
It was noticeably colder this afternoon but pleasant, now three hours later the wind is blowing a gale again, is there no respite from it.
