The Vintage Advantage

This is my little Holga camera. It's not digital, uses film. It's made of plastic, with a plastic lens, and has gaps in the sides that you have to tape up to stop the light getting in. Or sometimes you might let the light get in just for the hell of it.
It's as ropey as an old rope and that's what makes it so much fun.

It harkens back to the days of taking photos and waiting a week to see what you got. And good or bad you would love the result because that's just how it was.

I'm trying to work out a way of using some it's results in these blips, but it's tricky if we play strictly by the rules, as blipfotos are supposed to be taken the day it's uploaded. Don't know if there's any 1 hour film processing services left, but I'll come up with something I'm sure.

Still, it's been a nice distraction from the internet trolls today.. Really must stop feeding them ;)
