Bluebell Woods

Come springtime, this woodland floor will be a carpet of blue. Today, the only colour was from the leaves retained by a young beech sapling. It was also late and so a slow shutter speed was demanded by the low light level.

I thought I'd let the camera off the leash for a bit and as it jogged off into the distance, it imparted both horizontal and vertical blur to the images taken. Fortunately, GIMP was able to restore some order. Three cheers for GIMP (Yes - it is legally free).
