Before and After

Before the pothole appeared in the A12 at Witham and before it was light, I'd made the commute to the office. Yesterday, the A12 was closed at Chelmsford thanks to a coming together of lorries. The crash caused thousands of towels to be dumped onto the carriageway so there was nothing hundreds if not thousands of commuters could do.

After darkness fell, well after darkness fell, I left the office. 8pm arrived in only a flash since I'd arrived in the morning, but I had to leave my colleagues behind to collect Miss I from her first Girl Guides meeting.

As a result, today has been something of photography blackout. What to do?
