All about the Weather
The snow was swirling around and it was lying all over the back garden, so this event had to be captured in a blip. This blip. The snow on the wall did later disappear, rather like snaw off a dyke does, but not because it had got any warmer. Naw, just because the wind had blown everything that wasn't nailed down aff to Norway. Anyway, after that there were some blue skies so I pulled on my boots and stepped out awhile, and even treated myself to a fine brunch with a plate of the foaming hollandaise and toasty muffin variety, with a good ethically sourced coffee. Yes, yes, roasted by hand.
Having been back indoors awhile, the weather did deteriorate but much later I still battled along dreich streets to the cosy howff where the 'lads' were making merry. But bloody hell, leaving the place. Torrential. Just as well the 35 bus runs well after midnight, or MrT and I, in our sassy youthful pea coats would have been in danger of getting more than a little bit moist, shall we say.
