Fitzroy Gardens
I had a lovely day catching up with a work friend for lunch then two other work friends in the evening. Dinner was at Cumulus Inc. an exciting inner city restaurant by chef Andrew McConnell. It has become a tradition that we meet up here whenever I am in Melbourne. We always share the succulent slow roasted shoulder of lamb and finish off with a Rum Baba where they present you with the bottle of aged rum to pour over the Baba yourself.
On the way to the restaurant I walked through the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, famous for Captain Cook's Cottage, the fairy tree and a backdrop for wedding shoots. This bride had an awkward climb over the rocks to get into the garden for the photos.
