Stormy Weather

Another school visit to the museum today. They are covering WW2 and the Battle of Britain at school so they had talks about that in the museum and a tour around. Talks included Ken Plowman, WW2 pilot and Horsa Glider Pilot on 'Operation Market Garden' (Arnheim, as depicted in 'A Bridge Too Far'), and also on D-Day 6 June 1944.

The day started quite nice and sunny after terrible downpours during the night. Sunshine didn't last long as we had storms on and off through the morning with Sunshine in between. To the right is one storm that had just been over us and now shown retreating to deluge elsewhere!
