You're Still The One.

A widowed friend of ours was saying recently that when he tries internet dating, he is always paired off with someone with lots of shared interests, whereas he was happily married for years to someone with whom he had absolutely nothing in common except that they both liked their own space to do different things.
Well LooseCanon and I are very different on paper. He likes electronic stuff in fact anything with a plug attached and I'm more of a people and places person. I like order and tidiness he is compulsively untidy.
Well we must have done something right I suppose, because today we are celebrating our thirty eighth wedding anniversary. We went out in Hoi An for a wonderful meal and watched all the twinkly lights on the river. Then we bought a paper lantern each and cast them into the water where they wafted around in circles for a bit and then both ended up drifting closer together and going off in the same direction.
