Framed
A major milestone in our building work is the fitting of the windows and doors into the rebuilt conservatory. Although only one frame has actually been fitted today a second frame has been built and is awaiting fitting tomorrow and it is expected that all three of the doors will be in place before the weekend. A little longer to wait for the windows, but still a major milestone. Once the doors are in they effectively separate the conservatory area from the outside, protecting it from the weather and permitting other aspects of the work to progress faster. Today’s blip is a picture taken by me and shows the inherent barrel distortion of my Nikon lens, by the curvature of the balcony railings. Today’s picture is taken from a similar location, although slightly to the left when facing the house, to yesterday’s picture taken by Mrs GOG, so the changes can easily be seen.
