Tapes....
The weather has been so nasty and work has been so busy that I've not had time to go out with my camera and take many shots. I have a a bit of free time tomorrow so I thought I might go out if the weather allows and see what I can find.
I'm in my favourite haunt in Chorlton, ODDEST on Wilbraham Road. They have this screen made out of old tapes. It reminded me of my nephew's little son who was poking about in what we grandly call 'the office' one afternoon before Christmas. He came across a pile of tapes in their boxes on a shelf and had no idea what they were. He was very dubious when I told him they played music. I still have a tape machine in working order and he was amazed when I put one in and music came out (he's only 7). It was declared 'cool'.
He also found some old films that I'd never had developed. He was even more dubious about these being for taking pictures. That's what his iPad is for in his world. I'm quite intrigued as to what is actually on them myself. I suppose there are places that still develop film somewhere?
