Pretty Little Arthur

I surprised myself today by automatically spouting a bit of Thai at  my (half Thai) niece and nephew. So, I am picking up Thai by default!

The children both stopped in their tracks. Surely only mummy speaks Thai!

Phonetically, ma ha ma me ma. Or "come to me".

See, you can teach an old dog new tricks!

The good news is our friend has moved to a closer hospital. Less of a trek for us all. He can move his right leg and attempt words beginning with b and with m.
