DoF Tree

After being severely inspire by Hobbs these past couple of days I finally got around to trying something myself, but I just couldn’t achieve what I was trying to aspire to.  My first attempt (with my second set of photos) trying to do something with the top of a wall were a disaster, so a number of hours later I resorted to my first set of photos – looking up a tree.
 
I still could not really achieve what I was setting out to do, but not being too sure of what that was (other than mono) doesn’t help.  I finally did two mirrored versions, one fuzzy to focus, and the other focus to fuzzy.  This one is my favourite (well Mrs W likes it best and I don’t like to argue), and the other, along with the colour versions are on Flickr.
