Purple zoom burst

delphwynd was kind enough to show me a few tricks on the camera today.  

I made a first attempt at trying the bokeh effect then tried this zoom burst. At first I didn't think it would work as I had taken the picture before focus pulling back but as you can see it worked a treat.

It was originally quite red and purple coloured but after a play with settings in photoshop, I've emphasised the purple even more.
