Saving Graham
Found this little hedgehog in the garden earlier today. He was wriggling around, and seemed to be ill as he didn't react when my mum and I approached him. Looking closer, we realised that he wasn't breathing properly, and his nose was bleeding. Since it was humid (for Scotland), and he was lying in the sunlight, we took him into the house. I stayed with him for a few hours and tried to nurse him back to health in the garage, but there was no sign of him improving. The poor little thing was desperate for a drink, but couldn't quite find the strength to take some water from me. After phoning the SPCA, he died in my sisters arms five minutes later. We think he might have eaten some poison from one of the nearby gardens...
He'll always be remembered as wee Graham.
