Technology is great...when it works

A blue screen....not a good sign! Two hours trying to troubleshoot with a very nice man at Apple customer service on the phone (at their expense).

How happy that I had backed up my phone last night?

Trip to Solihull to Apple Store tomorrow... Plus I can pop into the Bravissimo/Pepperberry shop to spend my Christmas token from the best friend anyone could have.
