Roku

This is Roku on her first ever walk out. Roku's owners are Japanese. They explained that the name means the number six, and that it is an old-fashioned, though common, dog's name. I wonder if it's the Japanese equivalent of Rover?

I came across Roku and her owners when I was cycling back to my house after visiting a friend this afternoon. I only had my iPhone on me and the wee dog would not keep still. This is the best of the batch of pictures I took. I had hoped to get a good picture of just the pup. However, at least Roku's owner's hand shows off the scale of her tiny body.
