Got you..........finally!

The day started with heavy hail and sleety showers, but then brightened up, so we grabbed the chance to walk down into town to stretch our legs and do a couple of errands!
A bit chilly but not too cold, although just as we got within 100 metres of home, the heavens opened and we got pelted with hailstones!!!

If you've been reading my journal over the last couple of months, you will know all about my frustrations trying to photograph our resident robin! Well, as you can see I've finally snapped him, albeit not the best nor clearest image you'll see! He is such a tiny little thing, so quick to flee the moment he senses any movement.....but with the brightest red (orangey) breast I think I've seen, maybe he's quite young?! I will endeavour to get a better image of him, but as a starter for ten I am quite satisfied for now:-)

Ps this ones for you Hcb:-) told you I'd see more clearly now my windows have been cleaned ;-)
